The vineyards are east facing and situated at 265 M elevation on Marne di Sant’Agata (sand, clay, limestone) soil.  All of the grapes used to produce this wine come from the Barbaresco vineyards Faset and Rabajà.   Harvest is completed manually by selecting the best grapes and placing them in baskets. Maceration occurs over the course of 11 days in stainless steel tanks with regular punch downs. The wine is then aged for 9 months in stainless steel tanks and then is bottled without fining or filtration.  The wine is aged in the bottle for a minimum for 1 month before it is released.
Taste: A refreshing representation of the Nebbiolo grape variety. The wine is bone dry with elevated acid and fine, integrated tannins. The fruit is tart cranberry, red currant, and sour cherry. The red rose florality complements the fruit perfectly with an underlying note of dried mushrooms, black tea leaf and freshly cracked Sichuan peppercorn. This is the perfect red wine for everyday enjoyment.
Cellaring Potential: Drink now or cellar for 6 years.
Food Matching: Pairs well with salumi, grilled pork or vegetable-based main courses
