Musar Jeune Rosé is comprised of 85% Cinsault and 15% Mourvèdre from vines that were planted in the year 2000 at 1000m above sea level. Meant for consumption in its youth- within a few years of release. The Rosé is produced by the saignée’ (meaning 'to bleed') method and maceration.  Wines are fermented in cement-lined vats and released unoaked a year after the harvest
Taste: This is a dry and medium bodied expression of Cinsault and Mourvèdre creates a serious rose. The wine is driven by red berry fruit; tart and ripe strawberries and raspberries. The wine has a crushed rock minerality with underlying notes of almond skin, crushed red rose petal and Sichuan peppercorn. The wine has lingering confected berry length and finishes fresh on the palate.
Cellaring Potential: Drink now or cellar for 2+ years
Food Matching: Great as an aperitif or pair with niçoise salad, grilled salmon, or vegetable skewers
