Volnay 1er Cru 'Les Fremiets'

Maison Charles Francois Pere et Fils is a family owned winery situated in Nantoux in the heart of Cotes de Beaune. The first vines of the estate were planted in the early 1900s and through successive years, the Domaine acquired plots of land that fall under Hautes Cotes de Beaune and in the notable villages of Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune. In 1988 Domaine Charles Francois Pere et Fils was officially established. Today the estate is run by Francois's son and grandaughter. Pascal and Pauline adhere to traditional wine making technique and embrace the Burgundian style. They have expanded the portfolio to include Gevery-Chambertin, Chablis and Nuit- St Georges.

Wild yeast fermentation in tank for about 15 days with approximately 30% whole bunches followed by maturation in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Taste: Nice attack, silky tannins, finesse and above all excellent length.
