91 Points, James Suckling Vineyard location: La Consulta, Uco Valley Climate: Cool, sunny days and cold mountain nights. Soil: Poor sandy soilds with round, calcareous rocks. Trellising: Double Guyot Manually harvested, yield approx 3.5 Tons/acre.  3 days of cold maceration in stainless steel tanks.  Fermentation is carried out by indienous yeasts for approximately 7 days. 30% of the wine is aged in used Frech oak for 6 months.
Taste: Fresh dark black berries and a hint of iodine, soy and sesame seed. Medium bodied with soft round tannins and an elegant smooth finish.
Cellaring Potential: 5 to 7 years
Food Matching: Burgers, grilled lamb squeezers and slow cooked back ribs.
