Taste: |
An expressive, densely flavoured Mavrotragano; dry, full-bodied and prominent tannins. The fruit is ripe red and black cherry, and plums. There is a dried earth note to the wine with underlying bitter chocolate, smoked meat, and camphor. The use of French oak provides subtle baking spices of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. The wine finishes with a long, lingering length and refreshing acidity. |
