Description:	Garnatxa Cesca Vicent Cesca Vicent is a unique property located in the town of Gratallops, found in the heart of Priorat. The estate is owned and operated by Francesca Vicent (Cesca), who is a fifth-generation producer. Her family has been farming grapes in this area since the 16th century. Since inheriting the property, Cesca has become determined to produce a range of quality wine that highlights the true diversity of her vineyard. She began practicing organic viticulture in 1999 and became certified in 2011. Her focus has been to produce wine with as low intervention as possible and pay upmost respect to the land. This is 100% Grantxa (Grenache) and a true expression of the fruit forward nature of this grape. Grapes are from a single estate of ‘Mas d’en Corral’ which has 30 year old vines. The narrow terraces are inspersed with Granatxa and other grape varieties based on terroir. The low yield grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and fermentation is in temperature-controlled tanks. The wine is then left to age in large French oak barrels and bottled with a light filteration.
Taste:	Deep in the glass with red berries on the nose. The carefully sorting is evident in the concentration of this wine. Fruit forward with notes of cherry and raspberry with underlying earthiness, pepper and coffee.
