Nuits-Saint-Georges Rouge
It was at the beginning of the 19th century that Mr Honorè Gavignet, a winegrower at Domaine de la Romanée Conti created his own domaine in Nuits-Saint-Georges in the heart of Brugundy . Honoré, a man of the earth was to transmit his passion to his son Maurice Gavignet. Father and son developped the business on the family property, the current Domaine headquarters. Since that day, the love of a well accomplished work has allowed 4 generations to succeed one another from father to son, down to Arnaud Gavignet, the founder's great-grandson.
The fruit was hand picked and undergoes a direct press, after which it was transferred to steel vats for fermentation, it matures for 10 months on 10% new oak barrels. The wine was racked twice before bottling
