A great example of Barbera from Alba, Piedmont. The wine boasts a beautiful mix of red and dark fruit: ripe dark cherry, freeze-dried strawberry, ripe damson plum, and black currants. There is an underlying crushed violet petal florality, with hints of sandlewood, nutmeg, anise and forrest floor. The wine is dry, rich and full bodied. |
